& my story begins
It's the last day of September!!! So I came up with this special post.. If you do find it similar on other's blog, it's just purely.. coincidental.
Jan: Remember the party shown on TV. The third day marked the start of the school term in JC, which was hell. Everyone was so unfriendly? Then when you tried to talk, they just looked away. Bah, go to hell. Then after the first day it was the beginning of the mission to 'appear going to school but in fact staying at the shopping mall and eating bread'. Yes. Distinctly remember that. And of course, Jan 16!! The first lesson of my course, and I lied that I was going archery. HA.
Feb: The release of the 'O' Levels!! Who can forget that, and the relentless pursuit by the myriad people who tried to make sure I got into a JC. Lucky I didn't, ha. The rest of the month was pretty much spent in going out alone. But it was fun, nonetheless.
March: Don't recall much about it. Just remember spending some time with others, and catching up on the movies at Marina Square. So gonna miss that when school starts.
April: The start of the new term! First day was pretty much about 'zi-bi' with Fillet (grateful for her company) and getting to know the new school. And of course I made many new friends along the way. Ha. Plus that was the first time I had to confess 'highly-secretive' stuff in class. Tutorial. Of course I won't forget about me going to Boon Keng to join the class halfway through. But that was another beginning of a sweet journey..
May: My birthday!! (what else?) Shocked to have the whole class celebrating. Ok, not all. Some were clearly impatient for the Lit class after lunch. (Thanks....) But credit goes to ... Fillet!! For bringing the cake and announcing; SH.. For broadcasting to everyone (dun deny). Ha.
June: Had this two week holiday, in which I went to Genting and spent quality time with my family. Loved it. Especially the 'skip-his-lesson-and-bore-me-to-hell' part. This was the last month I spent at AMK CC for the hair lessons. Gonna miss that. Really learnt much. And the teacher was also very handsome. Ask Fillet.
July: David's birthday!! Was a MAJOR event, attended by the stars and I'm sure he got lots of presents too. (read it from the newspaper) and erm.. someone's birthdayon the same day too. Had to get her present before I rushed off somewhere. So kind of me... There's also the part when results started coming back and everything went hay-wire. Grossed.
August: Got A- for my first test!!! Still enjoying the sweet after-taste of success.. Then there was the start of the vacation after the Lit test. The shocking news of the mid-autumn festival celebration..
Sept: The awaited holidays!!! Though there's only 2 weeks left, I'm sure we'll still make use of it to fully recharge ourselves. And we celebrated SH's birthday. And someone else's birthday soon.. As in the partying part.
Ok, this year wouldn't be complete without you guys. Thanks for being there and making 2007 a brand new start for me!! HAHA.. Enjoy the rest of the year, and well, maybe your name will come out in the 2nd post of 'From my heart, to you'? (It's to thank the people- check the 1st one out in Dec 2006 at the archive there) Who knows?

It's almost the end of the week again!! How time flies when you're.. tormented.
That's today. Got tortured by this wicked witch of the Green MRT Line the whole afternoon. Went to Plaza Sing, and I got back my book!! Dunno what spells she cast to be able to wrap the book without using any scotch-tape. By the way, thanks!!!
And we went for a movie, 'Nanny Diaries', starred by Scarlett Johansen and this wonderfully handsome actor who ended up with her. Which reminds me of the ridiculous chart that I made up today. Had this impulse to vomit. Seriously.
Then we chatted a lot, about the gossips that seem endless (we make it possible) and also lots of mindless chatter. That was me, haha. All in all, that was a wonderful but terribly exhausting day.
And.. Guess what? My Friday-lessons are ending. (boo!) That's two weeks away from the last lessons. So gonna miss all the fun and learning. Argh!! *Sob* Anyway the next goal's gonna be to get another A for the next test. Yes, I'm going to have another test. Haha. I got A- before. *proud*
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to MENG QI!! You have turned 20!! And getting very old!!! Smile!!
Should be all. Going to catch some sleep. Not that I'm sleeping that early. Just lazy to type.HAHA.

Today was fun.
Met KC at 1130 after rushing to City Hall, then Fillet was late!! So she met us at Han's when we decided to eat there. Next was cake collection at Bakerzin and walking to Ben and Jerry's for the celebration. There were.. quite some people.
We sang !! HAHA.. And chatted a while ..
They agreed to go and play 'pool' next , but before that, everyone seemed so hyped up about getting Meng Qi's present that all of them went into More Than Words to see. *should be touched (her) & jealous (someone else)* Anyway we played .. and played.
Dinner cum high tea was at Macdonald's at Taka, and the rest went home after that.
KC and I were like dashing across the street in pursuit of Passion Salon, at Palais Renaissance. There was some distance from the traffic light to where we were, so we decided to run.
Didn't now someone had such high expectations.. But that place is definitely high class.And I got this price card. Design's nice.

Guess everyone's still recovering from the shock of seeing the new timetable. It's SHI*. And I mean that not only because there're only three teachers, but the time gap is simply so.. redundant? Plus it would be tantamount to wasting our time in school doing nothing. Sigh.
And I'm so not looking forward to school. Maybe it's beacause that will mark the end of the relaxing holidays, and piles of homework that never diminish. Add that to the fact that there's got to be more effort needed so as to pull up the grades. Not that I'm aiming for the stars or what. Argh.. Miss the Tioman trip already..
It's like the last 3rd week of holidays now?! Can't believe it.. More sighing**
Ok, on the bright side, which is not very bright, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHI HUI!! (I'm so kind to do this). Guess we'll be seeing each other soon. Ha. Better not reveal the details.

经常都有人给予我们压力。而这种无形的压迫感，会让你时时刻刻对于无为的小事感到内疚。。
难道每一次都是我们的不对吗？就算擅自去换发型，或是花了一些‘无聊钱’，就应该被骂吗？感觉上，四周都有很多人在极力主宰你的生活，而即使你尝试决定自己的道路，他们都会让你觉得自己犯了滔天大祸。我们，却也没过问他们的生活。。
虽说长辈经验多，而纯属关心才告诉你该怎样，可是。。仍然好烦！！
我依然觉得自己没错。为什么你们还是要在背后说什么‘不要学他去poly..’ 之类的话？我有嫌弃你们吗? 当你们不断在比较我和其他人时，又想过，自己也不是什么有头有脸的人吧？你们又想 David Gan 在社会上有地位吗？没有。你们有像其他父母让我住在公寓之类的房子吗？没有。那为何总是说我，又嘲笑别人？？
真不希望被控制。渴望得到解脱，独立。或许，第三年去中国也不错吧。

& my story begins
You know that feeling when you have nothing much to do, seriously, and spend the whole afternoon doing one thing? Well, guess what? That was how I spent yesterday.
Stepping onto the jetty, the cool sea breeze blows at you, and beckons you to witness the deep blue sea for yourself. It's clear; fishes abound. If you're lucky, you might even spot breeds like sword-fish, or catch a school of small fishes just underneath you.
Return to the basic at Tioman. No cars, no complex technonlogy. Even the television has only one channel. Due to the fasting month, we didn't see the malay stalls open for business, so there were only a few others left. Meals were pretty much at the only restaurant there, which faces the sea. Luckily for us, the dishes were quite delectable, so we had fun eating there, though we could memorise the menu.
As for the accomodations, we had this simple room located at the end of a winding bridge. Miny bridge. The TV set was so small my aunt commented it was a wonder I could watch what was showing. The toilet door kept creaking at the slighest wind; the main door required some strength to close, and lock. Of course, not forgetting the pond in front of our room, which was a favourite spot of Joey's since she could feed the fishes to her heart's content.
There is only one trip out to sea each day for snorkelling, but due to the rain that pelted down on Sunday, the trip was postponed to 2pm. Donning our life-jackets, the three of us , without Ah Ma, made our way to the jetty and waited. Soon, others came. The boat is supposed to be this small one that takes some time to reach the area. So me, with this swimming googles, since I have this fear of using the standard snorkelling mask, jumped down and started enjoying the sights of fishes. There were sea-urchins, and fishes with a variety of colours and stripes.
A plus for me was last night, when I sat on the bench at the beach, feeling the breeze on my face and hearing the music from my phone. It was a perfect time to collect your thoughts and enjoy the privacy. The sunset's also a must-see for any nature lover.
All in all, it was a fun trip. But do remember to bring your MP3 along, or a book , or anything that can banish boredom. And remember, some suntan lotion is good if you want to have a dark tan. Buy more bread for the fishes, and most of all, have a wonderful time there.
Anyway, I did. haha.

Tuesday night was the Swensen's dinner gathering for us day!! (that's me, Joey, ah ma and mum)
Meal was great, just that Joey seemed sick at the end and actually vomitted! Gosh.. Turned out that she 'was too cold' , something like 着凉,so .. Well, Mum decided to compensate her by letting her do a certain colouring thing. Dunno what it's called, but I did join in too. Fun.

Ok, the victim was too embarrassed to show her photos, so we decided to remove it.
By the way, we were talking about Shi Hui.

& my story begins
Where shall I start? (with so much stuff and many people chatting with me online now) Ok.. Chronological order then..
Ok. Was super high this morning, and I can still remember the feeling now. There's this edginess, and I was pressed for time to come up with this style for Shi Hui. So I was franctically styling the mannequin. Then it was almost ten before I packed up and went to Hougang Station.
We met Shi Hui on the bus at 11 plus, and made our way to school for lunch. Cheapskate Fillet was like , ' Get me something cheap and nice!' So I went to Stall 1 and bought us fried rice!! (lol) After that was walking to the underpass area with others whom we met at the canteen.
The seniors were late! The rehearsal was supposed to start at 12, but we waited till 1 plus before the door was opened and we went in. As usual, our class was so sporty we immediately went to rehearse twice. (roar*) Everything happened so fast! The people came in; the others started practising; we were stuck in the hall till about 4 plus.
Then Shi Hui's dear Fu Bi went to change clothes and I was dragged along with those 2 to the toilet. So Fu Bi was looking like this glam-star by 4 plus. (The show was at 6) Other people started coming into the handicaps toilet and it was so funny. We were so afraid that someone really needed to use that toilet! But anyway, that was our camp and we stayed there till 5 plus while I worked their tresses to look like celebrities (haha).
Then there was this wave of nausea that hit me when I went back! Felt dizzy, wanted to vomit. Really felt and knew what it was like to 抱病上场！But being professional, I was still able to fly my way on the stage. Figuratively.
The whole thing was till 10 plus, and I was so touched!! , that people kept coming up to ask ' You ok?' so many times!! Ya, really grateful!! It all ended with this song which sort of bade the 3rd years farewell.

Once for able to style their tresses to look like stars, once for being able to hold on till end of the show, and once for being able to work my magic on the stage.
OK,GOOD JOB PEOPLE!! And I'm really glad Poly is so much better than Secondary School.. TO1 ROCKS!!!

Been raining since god-knows-when. And I've been mostly stuck indoors, literally. Not that I've a lot of places to go.
Rain just feels rejuvenating when it blows on your face, but it's not as cool when it drenches you thoroughly. And you feel safe when the wind blows at you and you cuddle up to this cushion (no, I didn't use the one for Chen Ying).
Ok, going off now.

Met up in the morning yesterday with Fillet, who was late by.. half an hour?? So I had to go into the school looking so out of place and totally avoiding the people. Saw Mrs Peh and Mrs Koh, who received my presents with expressions of shock and happiness. They were so pleased! Then there were other teachers whom I called out to while they were walking to the hall for the concert (think bell boy in a hotel greeting the guests)
Next was meeting KCDC, who thankfully agreed to come out to hear my ever-present grumblings.We shopped at Plaza Sing, and delighted ourselves at the discounts available. I bought a pair of shoes! It costs just $14.50 after a 50% discount at Samuels and Kevins (or Kelvins?) There was nothing much on the movie screenings so we skipped that. Then we roamed and chatted and there was not a moment of silence. Dinner was at Swensen's before we parted ways and I went for my class.
'X-family' is totally cool! Ok, I'm like slower than the rest, but .. somethings need to be savoured. So I didn't choose to 'gobble up like a savaged barbarian'.
Had this new resolution today. Shan't say much up here.
About all. Thanks Fillet for being there, KCDC for your company, and Shi Hui for 'sending all the chill replies' (haha)
