It's nearing the end of the semester soon, and almost all lessons are over... There's only Lit left to go I think..
So it was day out for me today, and I went to City Hall for 'soul-cleansing'. (Yes, everyone's rushing for the essays, but I do deserve a break right?) Pasta's was so full so people! The 30% discount starts at 2, so that meant I had to find other eateries or wait for 2pm to come. The best choice was Marina Square.
Got to Jack's Place, and had a sumptuous meal for only $8++ ,which includes ice-cream, sprite, soup, and chicken cutlet (I'm drooling now). This blur THING decided to join me and we had this game of 'hide-and-seek' before I managed to find her. Better not remind me.

We went to the library at around 4, she doing her stuff while I sought the DVDs. 'One Tree Hill' was there! Naturally, I borrowed it. There was another book on 'Xin Yao' that contained LOTS of stuff, so the research part for our (not me and her) project is done. In an attempt to let the wind ruffle our hair, we sat at the sides of the bay later on. (Forgot to take the bookmarks! OMG!)

OK, it's tilted. But don't deny it feels serene and calm.

The last thing was going home at 5.30. Yup, definitely had a relaxing time without fretting over homework. I can't imagine staying in school till the wee hours doing research. That would be mad! Ok, save my skin before it's too late..

We went out today!! The 'Fabulous Four' gang, for lack of a proper name, Jane and Fubi. KCDC was so late! I actually had to wait for her at the control station in order to lead the lost sheep back to the library.

Got there around 12. They were already looking for the relevant stuff; we stayed there for an hour or so, going upstairs to look for the 'legendary' materials that seemed non-existent. At about 2, Sis came and we borrowed some other books. Turned out I borrowed all the irrelevant stuff, and only photocopied some pages of books. Haha.

KFC was packed when we arrived, but we managed to secure some seats. Ate and went to roam around at the streets nearby, looking at the cheap-skate stuff that doesn't even belong to my class (ie. high-class). Sis left and Fubi went home shortly after. So the two of them got cheated into walking from the library to Marina Square. Of course, I was leading the way...

Got to Esplanade at around 6, and to our dismay, the whole road was barricaded due to the contingent march. I was like, huh? So we had to retrace our steps and walked the underpass way. The library was rather packed as well, and there was still no trace of the stuff we wanted. Anyway, dinner was ice-cream at Haagen Daz's ; some cheapskate people chose to have coffee, which was hardly satisfying.

Soon after, we joined the crowds of people at the sides of the bay, awed by the spectacular fire-works. Deciding to roam the streets , I was pushed to the front to lead the way to Fullerton, Victoria Concert Hall, and The Art House, in that order. There was lots of gossip, and they really rambled non-stop almost about everything from the start of term till now. Time flew past as chit-chatted at the seats outside Art House, since VCH was guarded and closed. Got home at 12.15

Ok, since weekend's supposed to mean late sleep, and homework- rushing, that's what I'm going to do now. And,Class 95 FM rocks! Radio Production seems fun! That's gonna be on my list of electives for next year.. So..

Au revoir.. -help*dezz-

Just reached home.. School ended early today, since Junwei Laoshi decided to release us an hour early. No one should be complaining .. haha

This week's been hectic, with 2 projects due. The last one was the presentation yesterday. Chen Ying Laoshi was so kind! I only went to ask her about the pop essay homework, and she actually went to look for a relevant article for me! After telling the class briefly what we are supposed to do for the essay, she came over and gave me the article, hoping it would be of some use! So kind.. Haha.. Like me ><

Finally, there're just 3 major reports left, that's due rather soon. But, as you read this, I'm slacking away in the comfort of my room, ensconced on my bed. We do deserve a break at some time, right? Ok, many many breaks..

What's more, Writ Com lessons are officially over! So there'll be more time to go roaming on the streets! That will be.. next Tuesday..

Right, that's all for now. Will be blogging tomorrow for updates on how the trip goes.
Au revoir !!

I'm getting to enjoy the peacefulness of the night without anyone to interfere with my relaxations. Parents are gone for holidays, you see..

Anyway, Flat-chested (FC) was so childish today. Seeing that many people were not really paying attention to his boring lecture, he decided to have a quiz tomorrow! (And the way he pronounced ' quiz' sounded so chee-na). So we're supposed to study 5 chapters and prepare ADEQUATELY in order to prevent his further menopause-ing and giving us another test. I swear, we don't really have the luxury of time to bother with his hysterical nonsense and childish acts.. I totally hate music (Not that I liked it before)..

This week's going to be boring, seeing that there's nothing but loads of homework to do. Sunday's class ended yesterday with Teacher giving us tips on how to set up a salon. Ok,enough said. I'm going to continue struggling with the rest of the week.

Falling, falling.. The rain is falling...

These days, it's been nothing but the rain greeting us in the morning, or even the whole day. The weather's been projecting this gloomy atmosphere, or is it an air of majesty? In the movies ( like Harry Potter) , the skies usually show dark clouds hanging ominously over the buildings, threatening to rain anytime. Plus, the cool breeze that frequently ruffles yr HAIR makes you desire seeking for a warm place. That's how I feel, anyway.

Harry Potter book is finally out today! I woke up at 6.30 today and made my way to Compass Point's Popular branch. Boy! , were there many people! I had to queue despite reaching there at 7. Got my book and returned home for the final showdown later.

I'm totally skipping the photo-session yesterday since I was already on my way home by then. Yes, still VERY unbalanced..

So, off to my book now, seeing that I don't have any photos to look at.

I saw Mrs Koh today! And her hair is permed to make it wavy at the back, thus giving her this classy European look. She was so surprised to see me in school, and I said it was due to early dismissal today.. No Writ Comm tutorials...

Met up with Mrs Song today too, and we chatted about what's the lastest going on. Feels so nice and familiar going back to where I spent the last 4 years. There might be some bad memories, but hey, everything still seems quite ok..

Had like 5 pieces of melting chocolate as lunch since I didn't really had a proper meal. Now I'm feeling hungry.. Actually I'm perpetually hungry.. What to do? This growling sound just starts every night around this time.. zz

Ok.. Got to have a few days of slacking these few days.. Nice thing.. haha

School's ending in a few weeks (the sooner the better, in many's view).

It's just a monotony that's broken occasionally by the fun outings, which are rare and few now. Everyone's just busy with their school work, and there's hardly a common time when we can get together and hang out to relax. So miss the holidays.. School's drool..

Arrived at school at 9 today, for Ms Fong's appointment. I had to print the sources, which to my horror, is not required! I was carrying this heavy plastic bag around like a fool.. To top it, dear Starfish chose to inform everyone that he's sick only at 10! That was when most of the unfortunate people who live far away are travelling or have arrived. There's no such luxury for us to go home and come out again, mind you!

Lit's quite ok now, after that test. It just gets boring an hour into the lesson, and Nan Laoshi called Fillet when the latter was playing with Jane! Everyone became focused on them.. Good thing Nan Laoshi's a nice teacher who doesn't drown you with sarcasm, such as ' 丝雅,今天没生病阿?!' I'm not saying who said that..

Getting to enjoy the momentary bliss of having no work tonight, so I'm just going to savour that. Better cross my fingers and hope Starfish gets to class tomorrow. No telling what the class will do in frustration if history repeats itself..

Just got home from Vivocity, which has the most branches of paths among all the shopping malls in S'pore.

The highlight was the Harry Potter show today, which is absolutely fantastic! The story should be known to those who have read the book, but regarding the film, I must say quite a lot of parts were cut. I was shocked to see the show start off from somewhere in the middle of chapter 1. That means Harry was attacked by the dementors very soon into the show.

Met up with the Threesome Triad at around 3 plus, and we ate at Long John's (me, eating for the second time) before strolling off to GV. Then we roamed around at Page One, Top Shop and a few other boutiques before dining at Burger King.

Soon after, it was photo-taking session near the bay area. We tried many combinations, like A with B, then B with C.. You get the drift. Went home at around 10.30.

Just updating my blog, since the 野兽 requested for it. I must emphasize also, that 君伟 laoshi said I have potential too! Cos it was presentation yesterday and I did one on 许纯美. That's better than other boring topics, and I think I held the class' attention while I was talking in front. And there's an improvement from the last time! So happy..

Ok, off for supper now, which will be my fifth meal of the day. Nah, kidding.. 幽默感!

The hunter shoots his arrow. The swishing sound of the arrow enters your ear, like the ticking of the clock. The arrow, strong, resistant, penetrates through time and space. It is a stealthy worker, never leaving its trail. Time has passed.
It was the start of a new week , and we went to school with something, just something, at the back of our minds. There was no lesson that day, just a test. Fear was replaced. In its place was the feeling that if we had tried our best, the outcome was nothing to be ashamed of. I was right.

It came back today, the results. Much to my surprise, and ecstasy, the results were actually quite good! At the very least, I had proven myself worthy, though almost everyone did quite well.
Time never waits. It leaves behind sweet memories, or bitter-sweet ones that leave you reminiscing. You may regret the time you did something that should never have happened, or did not do something to salvage a mistake, but there are also times when you felt were the best moments of your life.

The steps of time,
trails of a sweet memory...
Laugh or sigh,
elsewhere you'll never find.
Late it may be,
at least the faults you now see.
Willing or not,
now, there's only a dot.. fullstop.

What if, you had a chance to relive the past? And you get to change history, or at least, experience it again? That was what I was thinking, seeing the P5 students going to the National Day Parade rehearsal today. I didn't go, of course. Just had a glimpse from the window.

Got to blog now, in lieu of the Lit madness that I'm facing. It's less than 2 days away from the test, and I must say I'm not really that prepared. Not if you're comparing the level of preparation I had for A.Maths tests last year. Probably why I started thinking about the past.

Primary school was the time when I was like the average blur kid, bumbling around and not really that into studying. Those were the carefree days when not even the PSLE could make me feel an ounce of anxiety. Then Secondary school was when most people grew up, and focused more on making friends. Yup. O's was the BIG thing, but beyond that, there wasn't much to stop us from enjoying the company of friends on outings, or even any ordinary day. Now it's poly. Things get more complex, with all the projects and tests coming yor way.Learning is no longer confined to the textbooks. It just feels strange, having gone through different phases of life, and sharing them with various groups of friends, people, who may no longer be a part of your life now.

And to the people who have kept asking me to cheer up, THANKS! Think it(desperation) should be over after the Lit test. See ya guys around on Monday!

Oh, and seriously, Queen and Ms Bong, you guys must arrange another time to meet again! Hope to see ya guys soon!

Ya ya.. It was Chipop lesson today, and we had discussion. Then the teacher returned us our first assignment. Feeling sick.

Then of course there was the lyrics analysis curse that came our way on Tuesday. Currently I'm seriously grossed out. By the level of competition and competency.

Should have joined Mass Comm. Would have been much easier I guess. Progressing into the freaked-out mode now.

Tuesday, another day of boredom in school..

It started off with Fillet waking up late in her aquarium, so I went to school myself. Shi, (no, I'm not saying the name) and Fillet came to class together, and were late. This stupid music note ( a person) insisted that anyone late cannot be pardoned. I didn't say who. The class continued with Clement getting people to read his slides ; Fillet remained her lost ways while presenting. I was like, oh my god..
Then teacher gave back an assignment, and I was like, that grade? And Meng Qi managed a B+ only. Yup..

Next it was Writ Com, and Ms Fong continued to teach us more about PODs, which can be used in the final term paper. I was paying attention, of course. Yup, forget the fact that she threatened to give us another test after I asked her for the marks for only the second time? Ok, third..

Last and the least, Chinese Pop teacher gave us another assignment that was, oh, a small percentage of the whole module's. And how many words was that? Nah, just a small case of 3,5k? Yes.. It can be done.. Just like how you can get a bust uplift, weight slimming package, and of course, EXTREME MAKEOVER!

Can't forget the little notice to check our mail given in Writ Com, which allowed us to know our marks.. *hiak hiak*

HYPOTHETICAL STORY:
We're but mere humans, and do not seek to have the power of three. The Charmed Ones, though, have an uncanny ability to do what they want, and they usually get what they want. In this case, they consulted the book of shadows and got advice on how to do what they wanted. No, Piper and Paige were apparently left out. The third sister insists on ignoring them. You know what? Your powers are the most useless..

Once again, that was just a mindless ramble.. But I guess some of you should know what I'm saying. Or go watch 'Charmed'.

Floating off.. -dezz--
