& my story begins

Class ended at 10 today, and I was supposed to meet Norman at AMK Hub. But before that, I had lunch with Merlion and KCDC and Sarahhhhh and Poison Ivy at Canteen 1. Had bubble tea, and I must say the yoghurt drinks are definitely must-try. So go try it! And there was the egg and chicken set from the japaneses food stall which is an all-time favourite with many. That was breakfast cum lunch.

Before that there was the class at 9, and I saw, to my horrror, this girl with NICE dress sense. Erm, the stockings was not blending with the overall scheme of the outfit. I'm not saying who (it's meng ***). Being nice, I only discussed it with KCDC, who was sitting at the last row with me. And when Jun wei Lao Shi reached the part about 幽默感,I became inquisitve and asked KCDC what it was about since I was not that skilled at it. She gave me that you-are-too-stupid-and-I-won't-tell-you look. I was so depressed.

After class and eating, the disastrous duo were persuading me not to skip class tommorow and said they would accompany me till 6.30 when I go for my lessons. So I said, ok. Then Bus 61 came and Merlion bade us goodbye and used her OLYMPIC SPEED to catch the bus. The LONG distance was covered in less than 10 seconds! OMG!! And I thought there was an earthquake and tornado. The mini- fountain seemed on the verge of producing a tsunami. (yes it did)

Then I took the bus with 1107, who has this watch that's broken down. Have you seen anyone checking time from a watch with no battery, and adjusting the time like everytime she checks it? You got one. Then her watch was forever showing the time as 1107, also the name of her own world, in which she loses touch with reality. And after reaching AMK, she decided to be 自闭 and went for a walk by herself. No idea what she wants..

So we walked around before Norman called and I met him. Finally.. No monster... Then.. BOOM!! The next cheapskate materialized!! Like when we were there, he actually wanted to dine (sorry, is eat) at the coffee shop. So clever me used reverse psychology and said, ok, since your budget is one dollar. Mac meals would cost ALOT. He agreed at last to eat at Mac. (waha)
When we checked out the timings for the movies, he was asking about the price of the tickets. Guessing, I said, $7.50. You should have seen his face. Like expecting the tickets to cost $2.

Then he insisted going to Junction 8, on BUS! (He has concession..) I was like, no?! But he pulled me to the bus stop and we had to walk back again since there was no direct bus. In the end I think he began to 抽筋since the MRT fare was 45 cents?

To top it, he INSISTED on watching Transformers! The show was so long, and we were rushing like mad to Funan later. Cos I wanted to color my hair, and he wanted a cut. So we decided the school was the cheapest. In the end I was abandoned since he had to meet his friends.

I had to watch the students behaving so unprofessionally in front of me.. There was this uncle taking ages to trim a woman's hair. Examples like that.. And though they said the usual waiting time was 25 mins, I had to wait 20 mins even after blowing my head. Cos blowing reduces the time by half, not 5 mins. It took like 1 hour plus for the massive project to complete. The price was 16 dollars, by the way.

I'm so enjoying the feeling of decadence tonight- no studying. Just pure slacking.. Waha..

Thrown back into the sweet moist world now.. Argh.. You can figure out what I'm saying..

& my story begins

Totally swept away by the craziness of the people around me.

There was only an hour of thrilling lecture yesterday, and I had to sit beside Chen Shihui since we were late. (Someone dragged the time by 15 mins). Then the glint in her eyes was so blinding, during the part when the teacher elaborated on the likes of 薛岳,苏芮. In that animated voice we all know so well, she kept telling me stories of songs she adores and the singers she fancies. Examples are above. I was like, spare me the chunky details. No! She claimed vehemently. So I had no choice, stuck with this retro hag who zooms down on her kill with those tales you never want to hear. Did I mention the 山水画class she's been getting people to join? Just one more thing to add to her list of crimes.

Just today, Fillet was down with sickness *roll eyes* , the identity of which is unknown. Then she couldn't make it for Music class today! Omg.. We really want you to be well again... Recover soon -.-'

Last but not least ( the most, in fact), we have Ng Shihui. I was stuck with her today, since Fillet was SICK. I had to listen to Shihui crap about her fanciful bag, bought at the pasar malam. It means those cheapskate stalls set up by the road that sells goods at 90% discount even without Singapore Sale. I asked about the price. She replied , $30. Then I took it as she used her 美色to lower the price, originally at $10. Blame it on the negative value of her 美色,so she had to 倒贴。Imagine the pathetic state she was in. Rain pouring on her, just infuriated the uncle, and wanting badly to buy the bag. In the end she bought it at $30.
Wanting to save money after that incident, which is so predictable, she asked me to trim her hair. So I said, ok, Wed. That's on Mon. Then just now, I sms-ed her to arrange the meeting time. She was like, huh? Writ Com at 11?! Meet so early for what? Finally after 4 corresponding sms, she realised that we were supposed to meet earlier tomorrow. 搞笑。

Anyway, I'm so happy I skipped Chipop today for the rebonding class! Learnt so much and had so much hands-on! Bet Chipop could not even match up to a small fraction.

Ya, blame it on the weather. So hot on one day, then so cold. These people have become so insane! Argh! Save me!

& my story begins

Yup.. It all began with the Genting trip on Friday (and the class I missed too). Here are some pics..
Taken at Golden Mile Complex. Shows our waiting area on that morning.
Piles of brochures that would do more good serving as toilet paper..

Yup.. We were crossing the bridge while dawn was breaking(figuratively of course..)

Look at the screen. One button’s missing, the screen can’t be switched on.. I’m cheated miserably.. No games..
In Malaysia! Heading towards Genting .. The bus was so slow I could take many pics at once.. And oh, the screen’s still blank.

Hooray! After what seemed like hours of travelling..

There were some signs that ,hopefully, KCDC can explain for me, since she’s bred in Malaysia. (Thx><)
Erm no.. Not this.. Just realized number’s not really her thing.. Haha..

Maybe she can explain this sign? Should be just around her level of mental capacity I think.. Hopefully it’s not too challenging. Keeping my fingers crossed ><

First sign of civilization..

Hmm.. Fog.. Ideal for hanky-pankies..
Breakfast on the next morning. Look at how much was wasted.. Yep..
These packets of sugar and tissue papers were TAKEN from the trays. I assumed since it’s a buffet those were free for all.

View from the cable car. That was after breakfast.

Those are Rafflesia plants. Suitable for you to bathe in them if your perfume smells like vomit. *hiak hiak

We reckoned the sampling was to be tested. So I agreed to be the brave soul to try and see if it's up to the mark.

There weren't that many people when we took the cable car from the opposite direction.. Gotta wait now..

Finally.. Looks like our turn was coming..

Lunch's another time to get more tissue papers..

Look how much we bought in 1 hour .. There's discount too!!

Of course I just won.. Needless to say, judging from my cleverness.. waha

Ok.. So Genting was definitely fun! Had fun playing , and most importantly, get away from that devil of a book. Yup.. And Friday's class was.. Better to do without.. Haha..
Anyway, the holidays was fun thanks to the people I went out with. Yup, so let's get together soon!

& my story begins

It's just the second day of the 3-day series when I have to stay at home to play hopscotch the whole day. (Nah.. You wish..)

So Monday was the day when I met this blur photographer who, coincidentally, has CCA the whole day today. Anyway, we met up to do the lyrics project, which is so BLENDING in with the holidays. I'm like staring into space and trying to come up with the lyrics. Don't ask me how it went.. The song's ..Well, a song..

Then Tuesday came along! Woke up, went to ah ma house and went home. Basically it's like that. Didn't went for class yesterday since there was the Lit test that is coming up, which I believe everyone so enjoys. Immerse yourself in the archaic world of Chinese Literature, people! Let it soak your brains and conquer your thoughts, feelings, and time!! You like it! Embrace the history, for it brings to you the promise of a bright new century! Yes, you'll be gaining the powers to morph yourself into a promising, confident scholar!! (= nerd) Charge on!!

Yeah Yeah..

Wednesday! Went to Ah ma house again (can you blame me?) and started reading the little red book (no it's not the one by Mao Zedong) but hey, it is the key to the future, the beacon of light in an otherwise dark world. It frees your souls from the boredom of everyday life. Read it,people! (Sidetrack) Ya.. Then received this message fromKCDC's , Fillet's and Sis's Hubby. I'm not saying he's flirting with them concurrently, just that they're totally into him.The Lit test is supposedly pushed back to the 3rd week. (Oh dun be sad...)

And I highly suspect that there's no Lit class next week, which means 3 hours of transport to and from school for one hour of spacing out on Monday. How exciting, stimulating, arousing...

So I started playing Neopets! Haha.. I know.. But it's one of the few games that don't require downloading or installing and thus supported by Windows Vista. Talk about high-tech..
And I finally practised my cutting!! Haha.. Yup.. So I guess there's no more studying for me today..

Drifting off to the exciting, AROUSING world of Literature now, people?? Don't come back with .. well, diseases.. You know what I mean... Muhahaha..

& my story begins

Yu hoo! Back again with more updates, and of course, gossip.

Met up with KCDC and terrorizing sis today to watch Fantastic 4. We met at City Hall at 11.40 (10 mins late, I know.. But I was running an errand). Then we walked to Marina Square and checked out the Yuki Yaki buffet lunch. It was to start at 12, and they decided to stroll leisurely to GV to buy the tickets first before eating since it was still early. My stomach was rumbling by then.. (poor me, to be denied lunch cum breakfast cum afternoon tea cum dinner by them).

Later on we sat down and started our frenzy of getting food. There was an assortment: veg, terriyaki, sushi, lots of soft drinks and of course, ice-cream syrup. They seemed so excited then, and we had a fun time cooking and eating. Being innocent, I let myself try out the types of soft drink available. So I had 3 cups simutaneously. The food was nice, but you have to know how to cook it the right way. It's buffet by the way, which is suitable for cheapskate (so not me><)

The highlight came when we tried out the ice-cream 'cooking'. There were the syrup, and you're supposed to pour them into the pan and let it freeze. Using the shovel, you 'farm' it and shove and push till you get the ice cream. We were bursting with laughter when they scooped up my mixture and put everything on my plate. I was like, omg!! It was quite nice, the green tea and honeydew mixture. There was also chocolate rice inside. Looked nice, but it was rejected. (So sad..)

Later on we watched the show. It talked about the rise of the silver surfer, but there's this mastermind behind all this. Towards the end, I didn't even know if it's destroyed or what. Reed and Susan finally had their marriage in Jap costume, and Johnny continues to look hot while Ben carries on with his antics.

Around 5 plus Sis bought 3 pairs of shoes at Tinker's, which set her back by $50. Then we proceeded to Esplanade library to borrow videos. (No red bag this time, since I didn't have enough space on my card) We headed to the rooftop to chit chat for an hour. After that we walked to the train station and went home.

I had class tonight, and learnt 2 kinds of bunning! That makes it a total of 4 kinds that I know! So proud of myself! And tomorrow is the fifth month since I started learning!

Anyway, it was a nice outing today. Had lots of fun with the 2 old and matured sisters today. Made me feel older, but I seem to have no resistance against them. (Omg..)

Ya.. Heading off to the red Lit book. Gotta study.. And I'm proud to say I'm skipping the boring music lessons next Fri since I'm going Genting. Yup.. people you can enjoy his lessons! Muhaha..

Due to some unforeseen circumstances on Monday, the outing was postponed to today. And on today, Queen Peini actually wanted to go out with her poly friends I think, even though we planned this outing on Monday. So I insisted we come out and she agreed (heh heh..)

Arrived at K-Box at around 11, and started singing. The lunch is horrible by the way, and I still can't figure out why I was even that looking forward to eating it initially. The song choosing part was fun, and we derived lots of laughter from choosing weird songs. Our dear Helen came at close to 12, and that was after I went down to Cine-leisure to fetch her. She's like ' I'm stuck in Heeren! How?!' So I decided to guide her up, albeit the proximity of Heeren and Cine-leisure.

The singing session ended at 2, since they didn't want to extend the time. We headed for Taka, and took the escalators endlessly. (Lord knew where we were heading..) Finally we came to the kid's section and Peini was searching frantically for a pencil box, which I thought was for her friend. In the end it's for herself. This she said ' I want a Rock-kind-of pencil case.'. We chose to ignore that since it's impossible to find that in the kid's section. Just like how we can't find Pein* in a slimming centre. *Oops. Wrong example.

Anyway, we walked to Kinokuniya to look for the stationery, and Helen was indecisive on whether to buy the dictionary. Finally we headed back to Taka to buy the stuff we originally set our eyes on. They spent their 20-dollar vouchers and I'm proud to say I managed to squeeze in an eraser, which I have no use for, for myself. Then we met Ms Tee while going to the ice cream outlet to satisfy our (ok, mine.. Blame it on the vomit-inducing K - lunch) hungry stomach.

Our next stop was the Heeren , where we took neo-prints that seem nicer than the ones we took before. Finally we got to Pastamania for dinner. Don't even remind me of it. Just know that the ice lemon tea is fantastic. Got to the capsule stations downstairs, at around 7.

Since we're like the cheapskate family, we decided to walk to Dhoby Ghaut station. There, we roamed around in Plaza Sing, and I bought this nice keychain that is so worth it! The shop name is CNS, and dun even start guessing what it means. Peini got her re-gift, and we saw this signboard that suits her to a tee :
'I am not a BITCH , i am THE BITCH.
To you I am known as MS. BITCH'

Of course we're not implying anything, but.. she did say she wanted to marry this male dog. Ask Helen.

Last stop was StarBucks, where we had this refreshing cup of coffee that wasn't even fully filled, since they filled ice inside. Peini was already drifting off to FOD by then. (FOD= Fantasies of DJ..Just her little own world)

Should be all. Just realised that I'm so glad I missed the class outing, which only saw 15 people. Think Amy Goonyakuni* had a fun time there. Ok, sorry, just joking. By the way, Helen, you can tag! Dun have to remind you><

It's actually the holidays now!! *excited and leaping in the air*

I'm so enjoying it like I wanted. So start off with Saturday. The test was quite manageable, I guess, and I finished it like half an hour before. Began stoning until Ms Fong came up and asked me to helped her with some staple thing. Then she walked off and apparently didn't expect me to be able to release the catch so quickly.

After the test went to meet up with Rock DJ, since the guys were very busy.. (Shan't elaborate). We walked around in Orchard, catching up. It's like, everyone in JC is so busy. There's some Mid Year Exam after their holidays I think, that affects their promotion to some extent. So we decided to watch Spiderman 3 (again) since he hadn't. I know.. Seems so wasteful, albeit it being a nice show. We chatted and took our time walking to Plaza Sing. Went home at 6 plus.

Sunday had class. Aunt called me while I was leaving house to see if I could pass by to eat pizzas. She offered to drive me to class too. So I agreed, and walked there. Had like 5 slices of pizza (Ya I know.. Dun even tell me what you think).

Monday! Supposed to be a nice day out at Taka, but I guess Helen was sick (think she is).So I met up with Peini at City Hall to borrow videos. Got this nice red bag that my mum loves. That's for borrowing 8 items, by the way. Then we proceeded to Swensen's for lunch, which was so satisfying. Well, by then she hadn't tell me why she asked me out. Then we chatted and toured Marina Square like no one's business, all the while gossiping. Got to Suntec and played with the capsule stations, which involve putting coins and turning the machine to produce this round thing. There's some keychain inside, which can be used for future birthday presents ( i know i know) It's just saving, so not considered as cheapskate. Went back to the library and borrowed some videos that weren't there at first! *gasp*

Reached home at 7 plus. Saw some unnecessay figures. Shan't expound. So that's about all. So looking forward to the rest of the holidays. Hope school never starts. Bye!

Been busy for this past week with studying for the 2 tests that were/are coming up. 1 down, 1 to go.

Today's lesson was rather 'short and sweet', in the sense that there was only a test and presentation to be made.So no teaching involved, unless you count the part when Jun Wei Laoshi gave us the comments. I was not that anxious today, which was quite a feat, considering how I rushed through my pop presentation. As for the marks.. Well, it's ok, I think.

The weekend's just round the corner. Actually VERY round the corner. Peini's having FUN like now; Huimin's school ended yesterday; Norman, well, he's forever busy. Just some examples of people wo have made it into the holiday stage. (If it were not Ms Fong's module I think the teacher would have been cursed like umpteen times by now). I'm actually looking forward to the holidays now...

My mum's actually considering letting me go to Kimage to learn the hair stuff, that is, if there's subsidy from some association. (So hoping I can get it!!, not like the stupid scholarship at some school, the name of which is too disgraceful to be announced).

Erm.. Then.. that's about all. So waiting for tomorrow to come!! Not for the test of course.. HAHA.. You bet..

Bah.. Seems like finishing all your homework too quickly has its drawbacks, like having nothing to do. Anyway, 2 tests are coming up, so off to study, soon..

So today Chen Ying's class was brought forward. We were shown the movie clip, which was quite nice, except that it was rather late. Then of course she talked about phones, and the lesson was so sleep inducing.

Ok.. So this is like the last week of school. Still got lots of homework. Just ask Mel.

& my story begins

This week has been so eventful.. Went out like a few times, and of course there's this Vesak Day Holiday that saw me slacking at home with this runny nose and sore throat.

Monday's Lit class was so boring, yet again! And I was like lying on the table throughout the whole 2 hour lesson. For our dear Jun and Clementi, they were just being a bit cheap skate (only a bit...) by charging their laptops' battery. Which reminds me about Shi Hui'sphone and her perpetual 'charge-phone-in-class' antics. The exciting thing was I got 终极一班 show from KC! And I mean the whole series! So happy.. Then I went home at around 5 to ensure I could make it home to watch 金顺 & Superstar..

Tues's lyrics was boring, as it promised to be. Huisi was like,' But I partnered him last week! Can I dun partner him each week?' You know who I'm referring to. Then we started writing lyrics for a song again. This time it was like at our height of ability with Meng Qi around. The sad thing is that next week there's no Writ Com class! I'm like.. zzz... No more fun .. Save for Jun Wei laoshi's class.

Wed went out with Huisi and KC to Book Fair. The monsoon salon was rather empty when we arrived for our treatment. I was like having this red spot on my head, so no choice. But for our dear Merlion, she had two treatments and was so happy when she only had to pay 80 dollars due to a promotion. ( Infer: cheapskate) Then we proceeded to the Fair and hanged around till 8.30. Our dinner was at Spagheddies, and the portion was so huge! I wanted to take away, but thanks to them, the food was wasted. Ya. Later on we went to take some photos at Esplanade, and stayed till 11. Reached home at 12 plus, and nearly got an earful.

Thurs just slacked at home with illness. Helped Norm cut his hair, and it's more spiky now. I'm like so good, having only learnt for 4 months. This is so unlike ******, where the student stylists can cut our hair to result in a disaster.

Fri.. Met this monster at City Hall. Supposed to be at 12.30, but he/she/it just came at 1. Then we went to Esplanade to do our music project. I know. Mine's due after the holidays, but I've finished! So proud of myself! Later on I asked if he/she/it wanted totally cheapskate or high class or cheapskate price but high class ambience place for lunch. The answer was totally cheapskate. What can I say? Then we chatted a lot while walking aimlessly around the place.. Went home at 7.

Ok.. So going to nurse my illness.. (And I dun mind a belated present!!)
