& my story begins
Wee Ha... The busiest days of CNY are over (at least for me). 'Cos the last two days were just times when all I could do was sit around doing nothing. Of course there was stuff to eat, but I'm sure you don't gorge yourself at every relative's house visit (right?)
So today I'm quite free, again!! Listening to Fei Lun Hai's songs while blogging.. And 'Hua Yang' rocks!! The episodes are shorter on tv compared to the DVD, due to commercials. So it is in my humble opinion that you should either buy the DVDs, available in major CD shops , or you can watch it on youtube. Yeap.. But like a friend of mine, try to ration yourself so you don't finish the show too quickly, 'cos it's too nice.. (lol)
Speaking of the last two days, I went to a few uncles' and aunties' houses. Sat there like an idiot building castles in the air.. ya.. Collected quite many ang baos though(heh heh)
Erm then I helped my mum, aunt and Joey cut their hair. Only Joey's hair turned out to be a bit of a disaster, as the fringe was too short and thus made her look a bit ... funny, I guess. So she had get it cut by her dad again the next day, which made her complain about having to cut her hair twice in two days. (haha)
Due to the CNY, there's no lesson today, which is like so silly. 'Cos many people have already paid visits to their relatives on the first two days. Thus it was postponed to next week,and I have to wait... zzz

& my story begins
Ooh.. One week has passed! Since last Wednesday.. Haha..
Last Friday was a day of anticipation and excitement for the 'O' Level students of 2006(me too!). It was the result day! So I went to school early( way too early) with another friend in the hopes of getting some information from the teachers. Saw Mrs Koh, who didn't let on too much, but seemed extremely delighted with the top students in our school.(Yes, the reporters were there) Then Mr Pah totally refused to let on anything, saying (I don't know, haha)...
Then came the MOMENT. After the top students were called on stage to enjoy their momentary attention, the form teachers were allowed to give out the result slips to everyone. (I won't say my marks, but I'm sure you know.. haha)
So Saturday I went with my family to make a new pair of specs. Consider it a gift, haha.. Yeap, everything was agreed upon and we settled on a pair of specs with thick white sides and transparent in the middle. And yes, it's right below.
(I swear I didn't purposely put it on my result slip!!)
Anyway, Monday I went to dye my hair, so now it's kinda like a blend of orange and ..dunno. That was the exciting part on Monday , and after dyeing I was back home watching 'Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu' on DVD. The show's about this girl played by Ella , who's fat at first, but decided to slim down and transfer school to meet the man of her dreams , played by Wu Zun. It's showing tomorrow night on Channel U at 7, so stay tuned!
As for yesterday, the teacher was late! All the aunties and I were alraedy in the room and the teacher didn't arrive until after the lesson had started by 35 mins. During which the aunties gossiped about the hairdressing teacher, the contents of which is private (heh heh).
Yup, that's about all. Happy New Year everyone!! Get lots of ang bao! ( Psst. Anyone knows how to put background music on the blog?)

I can't tell you how much free time I have.
Anyway, This Friday's the result day! Gosh, it does come fast. Remember it was only last year in November that we finally finished the o's. So many months have gone by now, and in a few days we will get to know the result of our labour. Of course, I'll get to dye my hair again on Saturday. With my mum.And Ah ma.
Besides that, my hairdressing course is doing well so far, I think. Yesterday managed to complete the jagged hairstyle on time and blow the hair dry. Mum even suggested I cut hair for my cousin, Joey, so it might just be another EYE-OPENING experience. (lol) Yupp...
Guess that's all for now. Feeling some slight nervousness now.

The results is out! Daren Tan was proudly crowned as the winner of 'Project Superstar' last night! Woah...
The competition last night was quite stiff, what with Diya winning most of the rounds when it came to the judges' choice of winner. But when the results came out in the end, it was a nice and surprising turn of events! And so our second superstar has got himself a two-year contract with Warner, thus we can expect more of him in the future!
That aside, life seems pretty much boring, haha. Last Saturday went out with my aunts and Mum to Bugis to pray. As usual, there was a crowd there, with everyone having unfulfilled desires and hoping the Goddess will bless them. (Seriously, I think it's more practical to carve out a niche for oneself) But anyway, that was before we went to OG near Burlington Square. Kinda boring, if you ask me. My aunt was in the mood of complaining about the lack of 'trendy clothes' .Well, that's what you expect when you see tons of aunties and grannies thronging the mall.
For me, I managed to get 3 new clothes, much to my delight. The last place we went was the second storey of a hawker centre, where we were supposed to purchase new year goods. Everyone was in the way, as there was limited space for walking and no one was moving aside (zz) The good thing was that we got to sample much of the stuff like no one cared. (munch and crunch)

& my story begins
Ok, so February is here. It's plain and clear, from the sound of the chiming bell at 12 noon just now. This is getting lame.. Haha.. Let's move on then.
Yesterday I went home. As in moved back to my own house. Having much to do at home, I decided to go the Esplanade Library to get more DVDs to watch. Yeah.. I must say the place never seems to get boring. Granted, there's pretty much nothing there, but hey, you get a nice view of the bay! Anyway, the main point is after I left the library.
Aware that the release of the o's is next week, I headed for the 'Heatwave' salon for a haircut. Haha, I know.. It's only to get back results. But hey, the notion of it was rather appaeling then. So I had a haircut there, which is owned by Addy Lee, and guess who I saw? Darren! The superstar guy.. Ya, hated myself for not asking for a signature then. (The Grand Finals is on this Sunday, at 7.30) Haha..
