& my story begins
Writing the previous post made me realise what I'm going to lose. It enabled me to know how much I'm going to miss everyone, my friends, my classmates, those buddies.
What's even sadder is the fact that the new term of school is just three days away. That means no waking up at any time I fancy, no sleeping at a later time than ten or eleven. The freedom to do I want during the holidays will no longer be present too.
Why do we have to have new years? It just means changes. We age, lose our friends, get robbed of our liberty, and .. Is there any advantage? Hardly.
So, as this post is created, 987FM is playing its top song of the year. It's 'Where 'd you go' byFort Minor. Think this song was out around April this year.(guess) Also second time I'm listening to the Top 100 Countdown on the station. Last year's was fantastic, since I was so eager to tune in and actually left the radio on for around twelve hours!
Anyway, back to the main point. I feel apprehensive about going to a new school. Remember in Sec 1 when I was so lost on the first day of orientation. Mrs Low walked past me and I was like, 'Hi'.. (Hope this won't happen again)
Ok, don't just sit there reading! Do something! It may be the last thing you do in 2006!
To all those I know, HAPPY 2007!!!!

Time does fly. As I write this entry, it is already the 30th of December. What better time to collect my thoughts, and present to you guys this post from the bottom of my heart?
To Chong Yang : Hey buddy! Remember the China trip we had last year? I can still recall vividly the trip that I enjoyed so much. We shared a room, and I think there was a night when Steven and you were locked out. Sorry for that! In any case, just wanna tell you it was my pleasure getting to know you. In the New Year, hope everything goes your way. Adious! To Dorcas: You know, to me, you were always the great helper. In Sec 2, Mr Yang always got us to print Chiessays. If not for you, I would have been scolded many times for being unable to print. Even after we parted ways in Sec 3, you were still around when help was needed. For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are a great friend; you always will be.To Elson: Hmm.. The guy who went around harrassing people in Sec 1.. Haha. It was a surprise seeing you inA.Maths tuition and all. Even though we seemed to create quite some noise in class, and you had akanck of coming late for class, attracting attention, I know those classes would be different withoutyou. Before I forget, let me apologise for that time when I couldn't go to your house to revise Maths. You know what? You are still going to do great. So, cheers to that!To Eve and Fanny: This year was totally awesome for me when I got to know you guys. I found out a lot aboutstuff I didn't before. Places like the Esplanade and Haagen Dazs which I didn't find appealingbefore now atrract me greatly. Plus, when I was down, you were the ones there for me.Youtaught me what it was like to be a friend, and I truly enjoyed every moment with you guys.To Gina: You know, to tell the truth, Norman and I used to tease you a lot in lower Sec. Yeah.. But you are a fantastic person, really. Remember you actually messaged me before to ask how I was, 'cos you knewI was down. Thanks for your concern! Hope you have an awesome year ahead! To Huimin and Peini: Bo Ba!! Haha .. I will never forget the person who called me 'hunk' .. To let you know, I liked sitting behind you guys. From gossip to jokes, you guys seemed present in everyaspect of my school life, except CCA. We laughed, played cards, and became friends, all in a year. I'll really miss you guys next year, but hey! Here's wishing you endless joyin the future! To Jia Zhi, Lisi and Xu Yuan: I can still recall Ms Abey calling you guys strangely. But you are great people to be with. We sat nearby last year, and you guys cheered me on when I was down. That aside, you people always have some way of finding humour inotherwise boring stuff. Now, that's unique. Lastly, to Xuyuan, hope we can get into Mass Comm together next year! Good Luck to Us >< !To Helen: Gorgeous! Teachers always think you're a hardworking student, but we know the other sideof you. Whenever you become the butt of the joke, your face turns so red, that becomes anotherjoke! You're nice to be with, giving others a sense of being welcome. So, hope you still get good grades next year, and here's toasting to your success! To Nick: Yo, English pro! You know, sometimes your head does swell from all the praise about your fantasticEnglish. But the point is, I want to thank you for your help in my English. You didn't have to read through all my endless essays, but you did. Well, if I seemed unhelpful before, sorry for that. I knowall about your dreams of studying in Harvard and all, so here's hoping your dreams come true!To Yunting: To the class, you're the silent worker, excelling in Maths, so much so Eve called you Math monster. To me, you're a dependable friend. Sometimes you just seem able to crack jokes that make me laugh so badly! Well, you lent a listening ear when I needed them, so thanks! I want to tell you, you're a friend I never would do without. CHEERS!To ZQ & Meh: Firstly, I want to thank you guys. In March, CY, Meh and I went to watch 'Crywolf'. You know, that was an outing I enjoyed. A nice gathering to relax ourselves in the midst of all that studying. Of 'cos, I still recall your concern when I seemed depressed at a time. Thanks, Meh!As for Monkey, you were a great friend to sms-chat with. Plus, the study sessions were quitefun, due to the jokes and all. So, thanks, my friends! ><To Long Hao: Big Guy! The China trip last year was rewarding for me, as I made a good friend in you! You're a loyal friend, and I must say, your art is fantastic! Even though we seldom met after the trip,I know we never were strangers. So, I hope your future knows no boundaries! Cheers! ><To Norman: Haha, they say the best is always saved for the last. You know, in Sec 1, you were still annoyed atme, who seemed to pester you everywhere. But after getting to know you, you're a great guy.Sometimes I can call and tell you stuff that seemed irrelevant, but you didn't brush me off. In NCC, we endured all the trainings and all. In Sec 2, we were like bantering all the time, to others'amusement. To me, you have always been there, and I know we'll continue to be close friendseven after graduation. Finally, the year is ending. Our paths together may be nearing an end, but individually, we can still soar. This year would be empty without you guys, and I know I'll always treasure these pieces of memories with me. Because friends are families we choose for ourselves.-Dezz-THE ORDER OF PHONIEX

X'mas is always associated with snowing. For Singapore, it means endless rain.
Just look out your window.
Add that to the fact that there's only one present, and you don't really get a Merry X'mas.
So i just have to treat myself to a few more gifts, haha.
So yesterday Mum took me to her friend's place to dye my hair black. Now it's no longer its usual cheery self. ( Never mind hair, wait for a few more months.. Hang in there!)
School is starting, and today's Boxing Day. Why do holidays always end so quickly?
Think I'll miss those times that I have surfing porn. <Haha, kidding>

If I have a wish, can I wish for Singapore to actually snow? Cos there just seems to be lacking something. Picture America during this time of the month and you'll get my drift..
By the way, can I have another wish? I think it would be nice to get on a plane bound for the America,
haha. Anyway, just want to wish everyone a MERRY X'MAS!

Enough of the serious stuff. Let's review this week , which was rather eventful for me.
Firstly, on Tuesday, I hung out with my cousins and my aunt. She treated us to a sumptuous meal of Sushi and Jap food at Thomson Plaza. The place was nothing compared to Orchard Road or even Compass Point, cos there weren't many patrons.
Wed: considered hectic. Ok, think
satisfying's more the word. I met up with Pota, Xiang Rui and Eve at Toa Payoh MRT for the gathering. It's supposed to start at eleven, but some
girls (let's not say who) arrived at eleven thirty. So we ended up chatting at Somerset MRT.
lol. Anyway, the whole group of us went to Kbox for many rounds of singing. Of cos, we chose pop songs like
shang hai tan and ... Just kidding. I mean really pop songs.
After that the gang decided to hit the pool tables, but Xiang , Eve , Pota and I decided to take a rain check. We wandered aimlessly on the streets... Then we found seats at Taka and sat down to chit-chat.
Gossip, rumour and all... You get the drift..
All in all, it was a fun day which saw us getting home at ten plus. ( p.s Shermaine seemed reluctant to get home.. God knows why..)
So it was an enjoyable week, getting to see the ol' gang again. Until next year!

Remember the good old times when every day seemed the same to you? That was when you were young, ignorant of your surroundings... Now, you dread the end of the holidays.
Maybe you don't, but I do. After the 'O' Levels, it was as if my soul was liberated; without anything to study, we could play to our hearts' content. But now, with only a week to go, the carefree days will soon be over. While we herald the new year, let's not forget the beginning of our next phase of life.
For some, it's an important year, with major exams and all (
ha, mine's over) ; for others, it may be the start of another chapter in our education. We have new friends, teachers, and many all...
This festive season, while our holidays still last, let us indulge in our merrymaking for the last time. Whether you are looking forward to the new year , or dreading its presence, you can still forget about your worries for the time being.
Lastly, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
