& my story begins

Today was a day of surprises and 'strange occurrences', according to Norman.

We met up around 12 plus in the afternoon to have our haircut at Marina (supposedly). So we took the train down to City Hall station, and made our way to Marina Square. There is supposed to be this Kimage salon that charges $5 for a haircut, and I'm pretty sure quite cheap for highlight too. The directory stated that there's only one Kimage Prestige on the first floor. Hence we checked it out, and was shocked to find that it was so expensive! A haircut costs $37.50 after a discount. Determined, we walked around checking out the salons there. Here's a list- Heatwave, Zoom, Chapter2 , and another one which I forgot.Yep, so it turns out that we were unsuccessful in locating the 'legendary' salon.

So Norman went to ask his friend about the location, to find that it's at Peninsular Plaza. We had to reatract our way and finally arrived there, to discover a building that can't really be described as new. The layout was the same at each level, probably to facilitate searching for a shop. Many shops were not open , and we ended up finding a few salons with strange names. Here are a few (names modified but the pronunciation is the same)- Kid Kid, Pen-nie's Kurls. There was this strange girl in one who was rebonding her own hair. Laughing, we imagined how another person would look doing that and giggling to herself.

This is also what Norman giggled at , to my utter horror (I swear) :

It's a shop that sells stuff to serve people who want quick getaways at the Grand Park Hotel, we thought. There was also this strange guy who saw wearing this blue blouse and spotting a gold bag. Overall appearance? Like a gay .. Hahaa.. We felt like filming 'Gao Xiao Xing Dong'.

Anyway, we decided to head for Far East, where there are many salons. In the end, we managed to find a suitable one. There was this weird guy working there who was wearing earrings and wearing woman slippers. Plus he's very skinny and youknow he's doomed to be a gay. How tragic.

Yep, tiring day , but fun. But I don'y think I'll be going back any time soon. Support Heatwave!!

-dezz-
PS.(Norman really liked the shop.. hahaa)..
